• Mikkeli city's sports services is requesting a bid for the renewal of the water filtration system of the large swimming pool in Viihdeuimala Rantakeitain, Mikkeli, with plans, equipment and installations so that the equipment can be transported and installed in the current space. Operation description of the water purification of Rantakeita's old large pool: Volume 500 m3 Circulation time 5 h Flow 110 m3/h Temperature 26 0CNormal dilution/number of visitors 30 liters Current filter information: Filter diameter 1800 mm/pc -- 2 pcs Filter compounds quartz sand Surface area 2.54 m3 x 2 = 5.08 m3 Filtration speed 31.5 m/h Flushing speed 63 m/h Current pump information: Motor power 4 kW80 m3/h1500 r/min11.2 m The plan must check the compatibility of the current pumps with the new one offered to the filtration system. There are two old sand filters and each old filter has a volume of 5 m3. There is no separate equalization basin in the system and its construction would require major changes, so it is not being undertaken now. It is in planning the adequacy of the filtering capacity for the current pool volume to be checked, and the need for additional filters in the future should be taken into account in the layout, if a large pool were to be expanded and the need for filtering would increase.
