- The natural state of the Myllyjoki river rapids and streams has been changed by the riverbeds, the logging of the beach forests and the forest drainage. Summit and soup-time regulation are likely to reduce spawning from the current areas. The aim of the river rehabilitation is to improve and promote scratch and trout living conditions. The work includes eg. Adding wood to the riverbed, stoning of the riverbed, watering the old riverbed/widening the riverbed, and spawning refurbishment/gravel. In addition, the rehabilitation of the catchment area is supported by damming forest ditches on the Myllyjoki River. The estimated amounts of materials are shown in the attached plan and will be billed separately.
