Description:
The Finnish Forestry Center is requesting a bid for remote sensing-based forest inventory interpretation and trial sub-measurements in accordance with the specifications of this request for bids and its appendices. Offers are requested by inventory area from one or more areas. The supplier is selected by inventory areaain.
Remote sensing-based forest stand interpretation in 21 inventory areas in mainland Finland. In 7 of them, the work also includes measurements of reference test areas.
Tree interpretation is based on laser scanning, aerial photographs and terrain measurements. The customer supplies the starting materials for tree interpretation. Test dimensionsdata from 7 regions is provided either completely or partially by the provider/supplier.
This purchase includes tree interpretations in all areas and trial sub-measurements in 7 areas. The gross area of one inventory area is 2000 to 4000 km2. The total gross area of all areas is approximately 60,000 km2.
