• Description:
• The Arkadiankatu bridge in the center of Helsinki will be completely renewed. The current bridge dates from 1924, and it has a reinforced concrete slab girder frame. In the superstructure and walls, parallel to the bridge and lower in the transverse direction reinforcement beams, in which case the entire structure is made up of the grid structure that reinforces the tiler. The grating structure is covered with reinforced concrete cladding panels on the roof and north wall of the bridge, while the south wall is covered by a stone wall built on top of the rock. in the middle are two pairs of tram rails, which are dismantled when the old bridge is dismantled and rebuilt in connection with the new bridge. The new bridge will be built on the current site after the old bridge is dismantled. The new structure is 1-hole reinforced concrete cantilever slab bridge with span dimensions of (1.2) + 12.8 + (1.2) meters. The useful width ranges from 46.5 to 50.8 meters (the dimensions may still be refined). The main girder of the bridge is a two-way bearing3 reinforced concrete slab with the entire deck at the ends wide end beams. The structural thickness of the superstructure is 900 mm. The bridge is founded on the western support T1 on concrete-filled steel pipe piles to be drilled, and on the eastern support T2 on the corner retaining wall. The southern land support will be completely built again, while on the north side drill piling and cable transfers are carried out. The new bridge is wider and slightly longer than the current one.
