Description:
The Kankaanpää city's water supply department is asking for bids for the renovation of the wells of the Uudentalonlähti water intake in the city of Kankaanpää and the renewal of the regional pipeline. Vedenottama has two concrete manholes with a diameter of 3 m. Older well (well 1) approx. 2.5 m from its upper part will be poured again and the newer well (well 2) will be raised. A new cover will be installed in both wells. The pipeline from the wells to the pumping station building will be renewed to the extent that they are cast iron (well 1 by default). The contract also includes the acquisition and installation of the initial suction system of the network pumps and the changes to the suction piping required by it in accordance with the plan documents. The schedule will be agreed in more detail in the contract negotiation. The project must be completed by September 30, 2026. In project planning and in the implementation, it must be taken into account that the Uudentalonlähde is the largest water intake in Kankaanpää and the second well must be in production use during the contract. The water intake can be completely stopped for 1-2 days.
