Description:
SYKE requests a bid for the rental of a ship suitable for shallow coastal waters (including crew) for 2025, 2026 and 2027. Syke follows the state of the Gulf of Finland and the Archipelago Sea to fulfill its obligation for the Finnish sea management plan. In 2025, the ship must be uninterrupted for approximately18 days during weeks 32 - 35. The travel plan will be submitted to the service provider about one month before the start of the trip. Implementation for 2026, and 2027, are contract options. The research area covers the eastern border of the Gulf of Finland and the Archipelago SeaIn the west to Utoe and to the north to Mietoistenlahti. The research area will be specified in the travel plan each year separately. The ship must be able to move safely on domestic traffic area III and in coastal shallow waters (less than 3 meters outside the fairways).Research on the board is 12 hours/day. SYKE is responsible for booking a suitable quay on the ship in the ports of the travel plan. Syke is responsible for port fees. SYKE manages the arrangements for the accommodation of the research staff. The study is done on the deck of the ship to be rentedfrom sea containers to be placed. SYKE delivers containers to the agreed location well in advance of the journey and the heart rate is also responsible for moving the containers to the ship's deck, the service provider will attach the containers to the ship.
