Etela-Pirkanmaa palluvekinteistoet Oy is requesting bids for the renovation contract for the wet rooms of the Valkeakoski health center hospital in accordance with the tender documents. The Valkeakoski health center hospital was completed in 2020, which consists of one 5-story building. The wet rooms are original from 2020. Moisture damage has been found under the plastic mat in some of the wet rooms (Valkeakoski Terveyskeskussaaraala, T-Osa, wet room surveys, AFRY Finland Oy, 25.7.2024). Based on research, water gets inside the leg of toilet seats with hidden drains through the seat fixing screws, the inspection hatch or due to the leakage of the connections of the diagonally installed drain cuff. The passage of water under the plastic mat has been aided by the insufficient lifting of the plastic mat at the sewer connection, as well as the lack of tightness observed in the seals of the seat fixing screws. The repair contract covers wet areas repair work according to the attached documents. According to the preliminary plan, there are to be 2-3 wet rooms at a time. A more precise phasing and schedule of repairs will be drawn up in cooperation with the user. However, the contract must be carried out continuously. The contract period will be agreed upon with the selected contractor. The contract will be implemented as a total price contract. in the tender documents.
