• Description:
• The Finnish Waterway Agency manages about 16,300 km of waterways both on the coast and in inland waters. There are approximately 25,000 maritime safety devices on the waterways. The Finnish Railways Agency orders the maintenance of waterways as a service for four contract areas in the marine area and six inland waters to the contract area. The goal of the procurement is to enter into a framework agreement with a maximum of seven (7) operators as contractors for repairs and renovations of waterway safety devices. for structures where the Client does not usually do site-specific planning (the exception is sites that require more detailed planning). The implementation is based on existing type drawings, job descriptions and general instructions. The scope and circumstances of the work are revealed of the tender documents by site. The sites can be located on the mainland, islands, islets or in the water — in both sea and inland water areas.
