Description:
The City of Helsinki's employment service office is planning the acquisition of an artificial intelligence-assisted interpretation service and invites those interested in the purchase to register for a market dialogue regarding the preparation of the purchase. The City of Helsinki's employment service office offers employment services, e.g. for foreign-speaking customers who do not have Finnish or Swedish language skills or it is weak. Therefore, effective interpretation solutions are needed that support the communication between the client and the employee guiding the client, ensuring that foreign-speaking clients get the full benefit of the employment services. The city has valid interpretation service contracts for local and remote interpretation with the help of an interpreter. The purpose of this market dialogue is to map existing new AI solutions and service providers capable of offering multilingual interpretation services for employment services and to complement the interpretation that takes place with an interpreter. The interpretation service must be able to offer interpretation in several languages, for example Arabic, Russian, Somalia, etc. The service must use artificial intelligence to provide real-time interpretation (perhaps also translation). Service must be easy to use for both customers and service providers, and the user interface can be used on different devices (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.).
