- THIS IS NOT A PROCUREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT NOR A REQUEST FOR OFFER, BUT AN INVITATION TO A MARKET DIALOGUE / INFORMATION REQUEST. North Karelia's procurement department is preparing a tender for the procurement of Puhas Oy's ICT services. Puhas Oy is a waste management company owned by five municipalities. Company owners are the city of Joensuu and the municipalities of Ilomantsi, Kontiolahti, Liperi and Polvijärvi. The municipalities founded the company in 1997 under the name Joensuun Seudun Jätehuolto Oy, but at the beginning of 2012 the company got a new name, Puhas Oy. The company's operations, development and investments financed by waste fees. Approximately 114,000 inhabitants live in the customer's area of operation. About 800,000 waste bins are emptied annually. The company produces municipal waste management for all residents of its domain. Acquired services Acquired services cover the following entities:- The equipment, licenses and related services needed to build the new environment- The project that enables the transition to the new environment- Basic information technology services to replace Meita's services- Equipment procurement - SOC service - Support service for self-service stations The current state and need for change in ICT services are described in more detail in the appendices of this request for information.
