That's why we want to do a market survey before implementing the actual procurement criteria. The goal is map the market of the acquisition target and get comprehensive information about availability, implementation possibilities and potential service providers. This is a request for information concerning the transportation of the City of Turku's goods procurement. This announcement is not a procurement notice and not a request for tenders, but a request for information, which aims to map the market and develop procurement tender documents. The request for information is not binding on those who answered it. The procurement unit does not undertake to carry out procurement market survey basis, and the presented descriptions / specifications are not binding on the customer. This request for information is part of the market mapping of the city of Turku, the aim of which is to find out the solutions on the market and the operators' capabilities for low-emission and zero-emission for carrying out transports. As a rule, the goods delivered to the city of Turku go through a centralized distribution model. The goods are delivered to the city's logistics partner's terminal in Liedo, from where they are further distributed to around 300 people in the city of Turku to a place of business, such as schools, kindergartens, museums and office premises.
