- THIS IS NOT A PROCUREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT OR A REQUEST FOR OFFERS, BUT A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR MARKET SURVEY AND TECHNICAL DIALOGUE. The HUS corporation (hereafter also the procurement unit) uses this information request to survey the market for a possible acquisition of data center equipment to support planning. The purpose of the information request is to survey the suppliers on the market and their product and service selection. The object of the acquisition is the server and infrastructure equipment needed by the information systems in the data centers with accessories and related support, maintenance and other expert services. The procured equipment includes both technology-specific and technology-independent equipment. HUS currently uses e.g. of the following device manufacturers data center equipment: Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Hitachi Vantara and F5. The equipment to be purchased may also be of other brands on a case-by-case basis. Several devices in use have a large life cycle left, so new devices in addition, the procurement need also applies to e.g. extensions and support services for existing devices. We ask suppliers interested in procurement to answer the following questions in writing: - What about the aforementioned device brands (Dell, HPE, Hitachi, F5) data center equipment is available through you? - What other device brands can you deliver? - What kind of support, maintenance and expert services do you offer in relation to the data center equipment you sell? - Do you offer equipment...
