• This request for information is not a request for tenders, but part of a market survey. With the help of the request for information, the city of Espoo maps service providers on the market as partners to organize batch and nature training for volunteers as a short course. The object of the procurement is a training package that is primarily tailored for trainees with an immigrant background as a 3-4 day course package. The contents of the training include, among other things, everyone's rights and responsibility camping, planning a trip, guiding a group and first aid skills. The trainings are organized for a group of about 20 people in fluent Finnish and interpreted into English if necessary. The service must be able to be organized in the Espoo area, if necessary the city will help to arrange the facilities for training sessions that take place indoors. After the training, volunteer community activists commit to organizing guided nature trips in their own association or community. In addition to the city of Espoo, other actors may also participate in the pilot project. The project creates the basis for a national operating model, which can be further developed and scaled in later stages. The goal of market mapping is to find a company, educational institution or a similar entity that participates in the planning of the training package in the fall of 2026 and pilots the organization of the trainings during the spring of 2027.
