- BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The city of Helsinki's urban environment department (hereafter KYMP) is preparing the procurement Framework arrangement for environmental technical consulting services 1 August 2026 - 31 July 2028 (option 1 August 2028 - 31 July 2030) together with the City of Helsinki construction service Stara. Before the actual one starting the procurement procedure, KYMP surveys the market supply, willingness and interest to offer for the framework arrangement in question and seeks answers to questions related to the procurement being prepared. This request for information corresponds to a market survey and its purpose is to conduct a preliminary survey the ability and interest of existing and potential new service providers in the market to implement the services presented in more detail in this request for information. The information collected through the request for information can be used in the preparation of a possible final request for tender. This is not a procurement announcement nor a request for participation, but a request for information addressed to potential suppliers. The request for information does not oblige the procurement unit to carry out the procurement. If the procurement described in the request for information is decided to be carried out, it may differ in terms of its content or, in terms of the selection of the procurement procedure, from the content of the request for information. answering does not bind the potential supplier, and is not a prerequisite for participating in the actual tender later.
