THIS IS NOT AN ADVANCE NOTICE, PROCUREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT OR REQUEST FOR OFFER, BUT AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE START OF A MARKET DIALOGUE AS PART OF THE PLANNING OF THE PROCUREMENT. The welfare area of Western Uusimaa surveys the interest of Service Providers in the tender for the purchase of a GPS positioning and reporting system.The acquisition includes GPS positioning devices for vehicles and a system suitable for their management. Positioning devices and vehicle tracking are needed for vehicles in the welfare area of Western Uusimaa, approximately 600 vehicles. Our area covers the following municipalities: Espoo, Hanko, Inkoo, Karkkila, Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi, Lohja, Raasepori, Siuntio and Vihti. With the procurement, Haetava's overall responsible Service Provider is planned to deliver the system as a service. The goal is to improve the utilization rate of vehicles in the Western Uusimaa welfare area, reduce costs and environmental impactand also saves working time. With the help of the management system of the positioning devices, it is necessary to be able to monitor the utilization rate of the vehicles and economical driving style as well as location information. In the procurement, one service provider and one backup service provider are selected. The West Uusimaa welfare area is not bindingdu to certain procurement quantities during the contract period. Service providers interested in procurement are asked to indicate their interest in procurement by e-mail.
