• This is not a request for tender, but an advance notice of the future procurement to shorten deadlines and a request for information for companies operating in the market.
  The Logistics Department of the Finnish Defense Forces has launched a life cycle update of the bodywork and bulk equipment of medium-heavy firefighting vehicles (year 2007) tender preparation. According to the preliminary plan, the vehicles will be delivered individually to the supplier to be equipped. The implementation of the equipment is estimated during the years 2026-2027.
  Market surveying is used to clarify issues related to procurement bidding and contracts, so that the procurement can be implemented in the most expedient manner possible. The goal of the market survey is to get information on e.g. implementation of the service, preliminary tender request material, pricing, contract terms and delivery times. Market mapping is used to map how the providers are capable to respond to the future request for tenders with the given specifications, and the purpose is to obtain comprehensive information for the preparation of the request for tenders; what the procurement unit should take into account when procuring that service. The goal is also to inform the market about the future acquisition and to find out the possible ones bidders' interest and opportunities to participate in the actual procurement procedure.
