According to the law on medical devices (719/2021), a professional user must ensure that a person who uses a medical device is the training and experience required by its safe use. Based on this, the Kanta-Häme Hospital District (Starting Hämeen Welfare Area V.2023) is acquiring a competence management system for medical devices. The introduction is intended to start during autumn 2022 and may also be accompanied by the Forssa Region's Wellbeing Group and the municipalities of Hämeenlinna and Janakkala.
