Description:
This is not a procurement notice or a request for tenders, but a market survey and request for information. The National ID forum (informal forum) has decided to organize a joint RFI event. The idea is to organize a single RFI involving several national agencies and ministries, which would maximize synergy benefits and be a cost-effective model. The ID Forum is a national informal cooperation forum that focuses on comprehensive identity management, its development, and creating a situational picture. The aim is to produce national services that develop capacity in identity management, coordinate training and information events, and improve the common situational awareness and ability to combat abuse. Identity is therefore at the heart of the forum and is dealt with within the remit of each member organization. The ID Forum consists of several Finnish agencies and ministries; Immigration Service (FIS), Border Guard Force (BGF), National Bureau of Investigations (NBI), National Police Board (NPB), Police departments, Customs, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). The subject of the RFI and information about the procedure are described in more detail in Appendix 1.
