• The welfare area of ​​Lapland is preparing the procurement of its personnel and the occupational health services it is responsible for organizing (Occupational Health Care Act TTHL 1383/2001, Section 4; Health Care Act 1326/2010, Section 18). Currently, occupational health care services are arranged on a multi-producer model and the contracts have expiredace at the end of 2024.
  The organization of occupational health services is being planned as a whole. As far as organization is concerned, various options for purchasing service and affiliated unit acquisition are being evaluated. Lapland's welfare area offers its personnel occupational health care services and statutory preventionboth an occupational health care service and an occupational health-focused medical care service.
  The regional government of the Lapland welfare region will decide during the spring of 2024, to what extent occupational health services for the personnel will be organized by a related unit and to what extent the services will be tendered. In order to gather information for decision-making varten, the welfare area requests the views of service providers on the procurement of occupational health services in relation to the separate questions mentioned below in this request for information.
  The purpose of the procurement is to carry out the operation in accordance with the contract on January 1, 2025. The publication date of the request for tender isestimated in June 2024. If the procurement unit later deems it necessary, it can ask the service providers for comments on the tender documents, such as the service description and the draft contract.
