• BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE INFORMATION REQUEST The city of Helsinki, the urban environment industry (hereafter "KYMP") is preparing a tender for the "Procurement of a central control system for traffic lights". Before starting the actual procurement procedure, KYMP maps market supply, willingness and interest to offer to the tender in question and seeks answers to questions related to the planned acquisition. The request for information is not a procurement announcement or a request for tender, but rather a market dialogue. The publication of a request for information does not start a tender. The procurement notice and request for tenders will be published later. The request for information does not oblige the procurement unit to carry out the actual procurement. Answering the request for information is not a prerequisite for a later one for participating in the organized tender. Market participants are not compensated for responding to a request for information or participating in a market dialogue. The information obtained through the request for information can be used for the preparation of procurement documents.
