Laensi-Uusimaa welfare area organizes social and health services, rescue services, and psychological and curatorial services for student care Espoon, for the residents of Hanko, Inkoo, Karkkila, Kauniainen, Kirkkonummi, Lohja, Raasepori, Siunti and Vihti.
Employees of the welfare area use a car, bicycle and public transport to get to work. At the moment, the staff has approx. 40 bikes, most of which are renewalsn in need.
The goal of the procurement is to acquire bicycles for work use as a leasing service for the personnel of Western Uusimaa. Bicycle users can be, for example, different units of aging service areas, such as services that support living at home. Bicycles may also be needed in other welfare areas in Western Uusimaain the units of the different service areas of the service area.
The subject of procurement are electric bicycles for work use. The estimated purchase quantities are about 20 assisted unisex city bikes and about 5 2- or 3-wheeled electric assisted cargo bikes. The welfare region of Western Uusimaa does not commit to mito the purchase quantities.
The procured service also includes the maintenance and repair services required for bicycle maintenance, as well as replacement services for broken or worn components (including batteries, motors and gears) and, if necessary, a new bike to replace a non-repairable bike.
