With this request for information, HUS launches a market consultation to prepare a procurement. The aim of this prior information notice is to find suppliers operating in this field of business, get information of the solutions available in the market, and inform our plans and requirements for the forthcoming procurement. SUBJECT OF PROCUREMENT The subject of procurement is syringe, which is suitable for intravitreal injections and storage of anti-VEGF medications. We are looking for syringes, which have optimal dosage control. Syringe sizes have to be 0,2 ml - 0,3 ml and it has to have low dead space. In addition, the product is required to have "luer lock" specification, which ensures a tight fit between syringe and needle. Biological stability data is available for aflibercept and faricimab for at least 14 days in the syringes. Caps, injection and filter needles, bubble adapters, bubble adapter holders and vial holders are also available from the supplier. INFORMATION FOR THE PROCEDURE HUS is tentatively planning to publish a call for tenders (estimated timetable February 2025).
