- The welfare area of Varsinais-Suomen is planning a tender regarding waste management services for hazardous waste. The start date of the agreement is planned to be 04/2026. THIS IS NOT A PROCUREMENT NOTICE, NOR A REQUEST FOR OFFER, BUT A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR POTENTIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS. This request for information does not ask, and no offers are given, but we ask for comments on the attached documents and the information request questions presented. The purpose of the request for information is to obtain additional information from potential bidders for the preparation of the request for bids for the upcoming tender. The object of the acquisition and the operation and service the need is described in more detail in the attachments of the request for information. Comments or questions received through the request for information will not be answered. The request for information does not oblige the procurement entity to carry out the actual procurement or to implement it as described in the request for information. The procurement unit is not obliged to take into account responses received to the request for information during the preparation of the request for tender. Responding to the request for information does not bind the service provider to participate in the tender, and is not a prerequisite for later participation in the actual tender. Answering or not answering the information request has no effect to the bidder's position in the actual tender. No compensation is paid for answering the request for information. The answers received are treated confidentially. The preliminary tender documents are attached to the request for information.
