VR-Yhtymä Oyj / VR Group Plc starts with this request for information/market survey concerning the procurement of fuel deliveries to tanks and to diesel locomotives at railway network in Finland. This is an advance notice involving a survey of the market and potential suppliers. This notice is not a call for tenders. Replying or failing to reply to this advance notice does not preclude participation in any call for tenders. The information given in this notice is preliminary and subject to change as the preparations proceed. The advance notice is not binding in any way. The purpose of this advance notice is to inform suppliers of a preliminary market survey and possible tender and collect information for mentioned supply. The goal is to get feedback of e.g. minimum requirements for the tender, content of services and pricing mechanism. The information collected in the preliminary market survey could be used in the preparation of the call of tenders, so, that the call of tenders can be actualized as appropriate as possible considering the needs of the procurement unit and the current market situation. The fuel deliveries for fuel tanks concern 24 locations in Finland. The fuel deliveries from tank truck to locomotives are done in four locations in Finland. Based on latest years, the approximated yearly volume for fuel deliveries is 23 million litres. Approximately half of the volume will be winter quality.
