- The Border Guard is asking for applications to participate in the procurement, the purpose of which is the maintenance of the barrier fence of the Eastern border of South-Eastern Finland and North Karelia (hereafter "IE-fence"), which includes e.g.:- Plowing and sandblasting, serviced road sections in total. approx. 284 km - Tierumpujen inspections, cleanings, repairs and maintenance- Designing the wear layers of the roads and crushing the wear layers- Placing plowing capes in the fall and removing them in the spring- Placing and maintaining traffic signs and the necessary signs- Digging, digging and renovation of the ditches- Clearing the wasteland on the west side of the road- Weed removal and control - Clearing of fallen trees from the top of the fence and from the openings - Maintenance painting of the fence and gates - Repair of other fence damage; vandalism, accidents, repair of storm damage, repairs of damage caused by animals, etc. - Gates, inspections, maintenance and repairs - Inspections, repairs, annual maintenance, refueling and BO tests of power outages - Inspections, annual maintenance and repairs of bridges - Service provider's 24/7 on-call readiness - Service provider's operational readiness for operational readiness in emergency situations - The service provider has must have an up-to-date monitoring and reporting system. At this stage, the procurement unit only receives applications for participation, and only participants selected as bidders are asked for an offer with a separate with a request for quotation.
