Description:
The object of the procurement is the cooling equipment (PCA, Aircraft Pre-Conditioned Air Unit) for the F-35 fighter, which is permanently installed in buildings. The cooling equipment is used to cool the aircraft during maintenance and inspections. The cooling equipment is permanently installed in the aircraft shelters, whereaircraft are stored and maintained. The procurement includes the design, delivery and installation of the equipment at the specified bases. A separate agreement is concluded with the supplier of the equipment for the maintenance of the equipment.
The cooler equipment includes a cooler unit and a fan unit. For coolingthe grid cools the medium that is fed to the fan unit. The fan unit supplies cooling air to the aircraft, cooling the aircraft's systems. The object of the acquisition is a system that produces the necessary cooling power for the aircraft's systems and also includes a feature wherethe thermal power produced by the chiller unit can be directed to heat the building with the help of heat recovery.
The installation personnel of the chiller equipment have access to the premises of the defense forces, which is why the personnel participating in the implementation of the procurement of the winning bidder are subject to personal safetysclearance and they are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
