• Description:
• The object of the procurement is the basic improvement of Katajanokka elementary school and Lpk Luotsi, which will be implemented as a target and ceiling price project management contract, and the renovation of the chimney located on the elementary school's property. In the project, the Katajanokka elementary school and LPK Luotsi buildings an extensive technical and functional basic improvement is planned, in which the premises will be brought up to date, the technical building systems will be renewed and the exterior cladding and windows of the buildings will be repaired. The project also aims to improve indoor air conditions and energy efficiency betterment. The project will correct deficiencies related to accessibility. Katajanokka elementary school's area is 3,250 brm² and LPK Luotsi 964 brm². The buildings are located on adjacent lots in Helsinki at the street addresses Laivastokuja 4 and 6. Buildings are located in Katajanokka's Merikasarm area, which is historically, culturally, and townscape valuable. The Katajanokka elementary school building is protected in the site plan with the designation sr-1 and sr-2. The LPK Luotsi building is in the site plan protected with the label sr-2. The sites are separate entities, but their basic improvement works are carried out as a single contract and a joint project management contract is drawn up for them.
