• Description:
• The subject of the procurement is the acquisition of a main contractor for the implementation of Malmi's new hospital, family center and health and wellness center using an alliance model. The new building will be built next to the current Malmi hospital (Talvelantie 6), and it is planned to be completed in stages by 2035. Malmi's new hospital is a rehabilitation-promoting hospital, where acute geriatric patients and patients in need of further surgical treatment are treated in particular. There will be around 200 new hospital beds. The hospital area will also be taken into account possible future expansion reserve. A therapy center promoting versatile rehabilitation is being planned in connection with the hospital, where, among other things, rehabilitation robotics will be concentrated. The technology is also utilized by patients who have already been discharged in further rehabilitation. The construction will take place in stages. The current hospital, including HUS's emergency room and laboratories, will continue to operate normally throughout the construction. The Malmi health center will also continue to operate until the new ones replace it the facilities are being completed. The premises of the family center and the health and wellness center are located in the same building as the new hospital. The total scope of the project estimated in the needs decision is approximately 77,000 brm². A site plan change is required for the project. The plan change expands the current hospital site, adds building rights and makes traffic arrangements.
