Description:
The acquisition focuses on performing the planning tasks of the Helsinki City Hall and the yard renovation. Helsinki City Hall is located at Pohjoisesplanadi 11-13. The design tasks include architectural and main design tasks, plus the following during the procurement procedureNamed Design Resources: Structural and Building Physical Design, Geo Design, HVAC Design and Electrical Design.
Helsinki City Hall was originally completed as a hotel (Seurahuone) in 1833.The town hall was modernized and repaired according to the plans of architect Aarno Ruusuvuori between 1965 and 1970 so that all internal structures and parts were rebuilt in concrete. Only the facades and the ballroom still date back to the 19th century. The town hall was expanded in years1985-1988 in the council building designed by Aarno Ruusuvuori. Since then, several technical improvements and functional changes have been made in the City Hall in the 1990s and 2000s.Inquest in the tender documents.
