• Description:
• The object of the procurement is the protective clothing of the entire staff of the Logistics business of VR-Yhtyma Oyj (hereafter VR or the Customer), which is used in the work tasks of freight transport. The object of the procurement does not include the so-called brand clothes. Procurement contract period is three (3) years for the period 1.10.2027 - 30.9.2030, in addition to which VR can extend the contract for a maximum of three (3) one (1) year option periods. The object of procurement includes protective clothing and their washing and logistics services. The customer either rents or acquires the clothes to own. In both in the operating model, the contract covers logistics and management services related to clothes. In both operating models, the selected supplier must present a credible report on the organization of clothing and clothing maintenance for the entire staff. The customer's staff works outside, so there are complaints the clothes must be suitable for their purpose and easy to maintain in an industrial laundry, work clothes in accordance with visibility class EN ISO 20471-2. The competition applies to both winter and summer clothes. The more detailed characteristics of the clothes to be purchased are described in the preliminary description of the object of purchase.
