- Looking for Treasource Project Experimenting Companies to pilot solutions that can improve the services and solutions that are already existing to enhance the recycling and recycling of hard plastics to enhance four challenges:
1) Facilitating hard plastics on a construction siteand identification of different plastic species (birth sorting)
2) Sorting and further treatment of PVC plastic
3) Managing and anticipation of plastics-related infrastructure
4) SER-waste recycling
solutions can be tested in practice either in HelsinkiOr in Tampere June -December -25 (max 6 months) for separately agreed sites. The
Treasource project supports the implementation of local and regional circular economy solutions. The partners are the Plastlife section of the City of Helsinki (Life21-IP-Fi-Plastlife) and the cousins project and TampereInfra Oy and Business Tampere.
Descriptions of Challenges
Challenge 1: Facilitating hard plastic sorting on a construction site and identifying different plastic species (location sorting)
Construction sites generate significant amounts of hard plastic waste, such as installation waste and reorganization waste, whichSorting and recycling are lacking and challenging. Identifying and sorting different plastic species already at birth can significantly improve the recycling of materials and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
