• Description:
• The municipality of Paltamo is asking for your offer for the driver's education in accordance with the driver's license act and regulations and the completion of the B driver's license for a passenger car. The agreement is valid for the academic years 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 and includes option for the academic year 2028-2029. The number of drivers' license holders varies according to the age group applying to high school, the number of students starting is probably between 10 and 20 per year. The driving lessons must be outside of upper secondary school lessons. A driving lesson can starts and ends at the office of the offering company. The offer must include:- billable costs + VAT itemized- total B-course price (online theory lessons and driving lessons with a real car)- other expenses (e.g. driver's license permit, examination fee)- the fees charged by the driving school for the teaching license - service description, how the driving lessons are organized - information about the vehicle's emissions - necessary authority fees - possible future additional driving hours and car rental during the retest. Overall, the cheapest offer is chosen. The municipality reserves the right not to accept any given offer. The director of education makes a decision on the provider of the driving instruction service. The deadline for submitting the offer is June 3, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
