Description:
This EU prior information notice is not a procurement notice or an invitation to tender, but rather a market survey and a request for information (hereinafter "RFI"). The publication of the prior information notice does not initiate a bidding competition. A procurement notice and an invitation to tender may be published later. The publication of the RFI does not obligate the contracting entity to carry out the actual procurement. Responding to the RFI is not a requirement for participation in any potential future bidding competition. The National Emergency Supply Agency (hereinafter "NESA") is preparing the procurement of Infectious Patient Isolation Capsules (hereinafter "IPIC") as part of the RescEU project. According to the preliminary estimation, IPIC's will be procured in a total quantity of approximately 30 - 120 units during the years 2023 - 2026. According to the preliminary schedule the actual procurement process is set to commence in September-October 2023. NESA is currently gathering information about the available IPIC's on the market. For this purpose, NESA is publishing the RFI describing the types of IPIC's planned for procurement. NESA also requests responses from potential suppliers regarding the IPIC's, and invites interested suppliers for a market dialogue as further detailed in the RFI.
