Description:
Public transport services in the regions of North Savo, North Karelia and South Savo according to the route-based license agreement.
In this call for tenders, a route-based concession agreement refers to a concession agreement in accordance with the Service Contract Regulation (1370/2007) and the Transport Services Act (320/2017), which is drawn up to manage route-like public transport services planned by the customer. The content of the right of use is defined in the attached document "General terms of the route-based right of use agreement".
Traffic according to this agreement is granted in accordance with the service agreement regulation exclusive right by a separate administrative decision in return for fulfilling public service obligations.
The interoperability requirements required by the Transport Services Act (320/2017, Part III, Chapter 2) are described in more detail in the tender request and its appendices.
