- The Logistics Department of the Defense Forces is asking for bids for rubble rescue containers that will be tendered jointly.
In addition to the Defense Forces, the following procurement units (their rescue services) participate in the procurement:
- Ita-Uusimaa HVA
- HVA of Northern Finland
- Pirkanmaa HVA
- Pohjois-Savo HVA
- North Ostrobothnia HVA
- Helsinki Rescue Service
Five (5) containers have been planned to be procured for the Finnish Defense Forces, Ita-Uusimaa three (3) for the welfare area and as a procurement coordinated by the Ministry of the Interior for five cooperation areas. There is for cooperation areas scheduled one (1) copy to be purchased for the welfare area of Northern Finland, one (1) copy for the welfare area of North Ostrobothnia, one (1) copy for the welfare area of Pirkanmaa, one (1) copy for the Helsinki city rescue service and one (1) copy for the rescue service of North Savo. In addition seven (7) containers are reserved for purchase as an option: Varsinais-Suomen welfare area reserves one (1) container as an option and Puolustusvoimat six (6) containers.
The purchase of a container includes the container and the fixed related to its use stock and equipment. In addition, there is an option to purchase bulk equipment, which can be seen in Appendix 4.
