Description:
The ELY Center in Southern Ostrobothnia is requesting an offer for mechanical control of reeds in Vaasa in the Risön area (46 ha) in the southern city. The reed control seeks an extensive and open beach area that extends to the shoreline. This aims to increase the representativeness of the seaside meadow and to improve the living conditions of the birds typical of them. The shape of the control is mowing/crushing the reed and collecting mowing waste from the area. Collection and some of the targets only crushing (mowing and collection allowed with these subjects are largely quite soft-base. The item is included in the Natura 2000 network.
