• Sale and processing of ash The subject of the acquisition is the sale of ash generated during combustion and cleaning of flue gases in the NA4 unit of the Naantali power plant of Turku Seudun Energiantuotanto Oy (TSE) and the Oriketo biothermal plant, and the reception, transport, processing, analysis, intermediate storage, utilization and disposal services. TSE produces energy by burning mainly biomass fuels and in the NA4 unit also recycled fuel (SRF) and, if necessary, asphaltene and coal in accordance with the environmental permits granted to the plants. In the NA4 unit, energy production is combined electricity and heat production, and at Orikedo, heat production. Combustion is based on Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) technology in the NA4 unit and at Orikedo For Bubbling Fluidized Bed (BFB) technology. The need for the service varies depending on the plants' driving situation and fuel consumption. The service is mainly scheduled for the heating season from September to May, with an emphasis on the winter months.
