- The object of the procurement is the handling of Paimio city school transport as a charter transport. Through an open procedure, the management of school transportation for the academic years 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26 and 2026-27, as well as 1 1-year options for the academic years 2027-28 and 2028-29, will be tendered.
The number of transportation students is approx.250 - 300, including not only elementary school students but also preschoolers and possibly secondary school students. School transport is carried out according to the school year timetables confirmed by the city of Paimio on the students' school days, which are a maximum of 190 in the school year.
The procurement includesfour sub-assemblies:
- Paimio city's regular school transport ensemble (several routes, routes K02 - K12)
- Kilometer-based car for short-term temporary transport that can be ordered separately (also accessible vehicle if necessary)
- Group transport during the school day in connection with e.g. differentto these events, familiarization visits and transportation to sports lessons located further away
- Regular school transports between Paimio and Turku cross the municipal borders, as well as possible transports also between Paimio and other nearby municipalities, which are driven if necessary. municipalities have oppilaita whose school transportation is organized by the city of Paimio.
The procurement is divided into sub-areas by route. The provider can offer school transport services for one or more routes. Procurement is done by route, based on the bid prices given for each individual route.
