• Description:
• The procurement services of the city of Turku's corporate administration are requesting offers for expert services in service design for the city of Turku and Lieto for the period 1 August 2026 - 31 July 2028 (+ option 2 years). The city of Turku offers its citizens hundreds of different services. With the means of service design, these services and the related customer experience are developed in a user-oriented manner. In addition, completely new services are conceptualized and produced. Along with comprehensive service reforms, service paths are also being developed and individual parts of service processes, such as applying for a service. Service design also develops the city's own operations, processes, internal services and personnel experience. The city is supported with design projects and training renewing the operating culture and continuing to instill customer-oriented thinking and a service culture. With the help of design, different futures are scanned and new possibilities are found. The design supports management's decision-making, strategy planning, foresight work and management with information. Systemic challenges, complex phenomena are solved by means of design, and common urban models and sustainable solutions that cross organizational boundaries are developed. At the same time, equality is promoted and the participation of city residents by reaching target groups whose voices may not otherwise be heard.
