- Tuomi Logistiikka Oy tenders according to the call for tenders suture materials for the hospital districts of the special responsibility area of the Pirkanmaa hospital district (January 1, 2023 cooperation areas of Inner Finland); For the area of Kanta-Haeme, Pirkanmaa hospital districts and South Ostrobothnia hospital districts. The competition includes ownmixing agents, hemostats, skin closure clamps and tissue adhesives. The competition does not include tissue support nets or staplers.
The length of the contract period is 2 years. It is possible to extend the contract as it is valid until further notice. The estimated start date of the contract is December 2022.
Estimated total value of the procurementis calculated for five (5) years (VAT 0%), which is distributed by hospital district as follows: Pirkanmaa 40-60%, Etelae-Ostrobothnia 25-35% and Kanta-Haeme 15-25%. Order quantities may vary each year. The volume of the procurement is described in the request for tendernoemmae.
VALUE-ADDED SERVICE:
The provider has the option, as a voluntary option, to offer value-added services related to the area of sutures, hemostats, skin barrier clamps and skin adhesives.
Value-added service aims to improve effectiveness. Things to aim for are infection of the surgical areareduction of gums, and reduction of wound infections and e.g. improvement of patient care, saving time in nursing work and control of material costs.
