Description: The tender applies to the management of Siikajoki municipal transport and food and school transport for the period 1.8.2022 - 31.7.2026 + Option for 2 years.
School transportation is organized as separate transport when open public transport is not available. School transport shall comply with legislation under section 32 of the Basic Education Act and the length of the school trip. The teaching activity grants students free of charge either on the basis of the length of the trip or the danger of the school trip.
Transportation is planned in cooperation with schools and operator so that there is no overlapping transportation and the transportation is performed as cost -effectively as possible. As much as possible, the existing competitive bus shifts and local traffic crossing the municipal boundaries will be utilized as possible, as this ensures the preservation of public transport services for all in the future.
