• Description:
• This is a small procurement below the national threshold value. The Youth Route project is action line 4.1. A project financed by the ESR+ (European Social Fund) and the city of Oulu, as well as Koulutuskuntayhtymä OSAO. The project's operational period is 1 August 2025-31 November 2027. The project the purpose is to support unemployed jobseekers aged 18-29 who are in a weak labor market position, who do not have a post-secondary degree or whose working life skills are deficient. The target group also includes OSAO students who are missing place of on-the-job training or whose studies are at risk of being interrupted. In addition, the target group includes students who are transitioning to working life at the end of their studies. The indirect target group is the region's companies and third sector operators like others projects. The focus of the project is strengthening the cooperation between BusinessOulu and Koulutuskuntayhtymä OSAO and developing cooperation between customers (students and unemployed job seekers) and companies. The key measure is the development of a skills mapping model, the goal of which is to support young people in identifying and articulating their own skills, and to provide guidance workers with concrete work tools for customer guidance. In addition, the project creates an operating model for the joint phase, which supports young people's transition from education to working life, especially at the interface between OSAO and BusinessOulu.
