The project's measures are intended to reduce traffic accidents, improve road safety and relieve their severity. At Hattula Mervie (MT 13902), a safety road island and a stop pair will be built. Siuntio, MT 116 / Kirkkotie will be built on a new stop south of the bridge. At Hollola, VT 24 Urajärvi will be built on a pedestrian and cycling route.
