- The purpose of the smart drug dispensing device service to be procured is to support the realization of safe and customer-oriented drug treatment for customers living in their own homes in the South Karelia Welfare Area (EKHVA) and to support customers living as independently as possible and maintaining functional capacity and improvingnding. The goal of the smart drug dispensing device service is also to utilize technological solutions as part of take-home services, speeding up timely availability of the drug and reducing the need for home visits related to drug treatment. The most important user of the smart drug dispensing device serviceelderly home care clients are one. The service can also be used by other customers of the take-home services of the South Karelia welfare area.
South Karelia's welfare area offers the customer the option of Personal budgeting as an alternative, based on the customer plan,in which case a private service provider distributes medicines and other medical treatment.
The home care clients of the South Karelia welfare area have been using smart medicine dispensing devices for several years, as of October 2023 there have been approximately 480 users. By 2027, it is estimated that medicine dosesthe need for life-saving devices is about 600 devices, the need can change every year.
The service must include a smart medicine dispensing device and the information system related to its functions and management. The service must also include the maintenance service of drug dispensing devices and the delivery of devices by EKHVA's standby thief... - Documents:
