• Description:
• The procurement concerns transport for sightseeing tours organized by Southwest Finland Waste Management for eighth-graders from schools in Southwest Finland's waste management area. to locations in Salo and Turku. The visit is done as a sightseeing tour, and during the visit you will get to know the handling and utilization of waste, sorting instructions and the principles of using natural resources and sustainable consumption. School children are picked up for a sightseeing tour from school. The number of children to be transported at one time can be more than 50 students according to the supplier's vehicle per car, usually students of one or two grade levels. There is one car at a time. Procurement is divided into sub-areas: 1 Turku seutu2 Salo seutu In procurement, one Supplier is selected per sub-region. In Appendix 1 Transportation quantities, the transportation quantities for the academic year 2025-2026 are detailed. Not all schools participate in the rounds every year. The durations of the rides shown in the appendix are estimates. The customer does not commit to a certain number of transports during the contract period. The contract does not give the Supplier the exclusive right to provide the service to the Subscriber. The location of the customer's premises may change during the contract period. If the supplier's vehicle capacity is not enough for the largest student groups, the Customer has the right to order a ride from a third party.
