Pohjois-Savo welfare area (hereinafter PSHVA) organizes special housing services in accordance with Section 21 of the Social Welfare Act (1301/2014) for persons over 18 years of age who, due to substance abuse and/or mental health or other reasons, need special support in their housing.and in organizing their housing.
The services provided at home are primary in relation to services that require moving and include both housing and service. When implementing housing services, a person's privacy, right to self-determination and participation are respected and he is guidedto appropriate rehabilitation and social and healthcare services. PSHVA organizes a round-the-clock housing service only when the customer is in need of round-the-clock care and attention, and can no longer survive in his own home with the help of open services.
The customer's housing service is evaluated sphonetically. If the customer's ability to function changes, the level and location of the housing service can also be changed to meet the customer's needs, if necessary.
