• OBJECT OF THE PROCUREMENT The object of the procurement is the acquisition of a measurement network consisting of 10 continuous meters for two streams (5 meters per stream). The streams under measurement are: Monikonpuro and Gumbölenjoki. Meters must measure continuous water level height, flow rate and temperature (it is assumed that one meter can measure flow rate, water level level and temperature). In addition, the purchase includes the installation of meters and their base stations in stream water and their deletion. In addition, a measurement service that includes data collection, maintenance, delivery of raw data and corrected data at agreed intervals and preliminary analysis of the data. Offers are requested for a 6-month, 12-month and 18-month measurement campaign, including all costs (such as travel expenses, maintenance, spare parts, etc.)OBJECTIVES The main goal of the project is to produce measurement data of the highest quality and without gaps as possible on the water level, flow and temperature variations of one stream in Espoo and one river in Espoo and to assess where and when drying and thermal stress, which are harmful to the stream organisms, occur. The data obtained in connection with this acquisition will later be used together with a climate model to predict how the hydrology of the streams will change as a result of climate change (separate purchase).
