Description: The StreetAI project is a joint project between the City of Lappeenranta and the City of Imatra, which aims to integrate the savings and benefits of digitalisation into the design, construction and maintenance of urban streets. The project will improve and accelerate the understanding of the condition, functionality, maintenance needs and traffic of the streets and environment of urban areas of responsibility, as well as urban development and technical services.
The project explores and tests the benefits of combining sensory, cloud services, artificial intelligence analysis and real-time data in decision making.
