- The subject of procurement are children's and youth's walkers, strollers and bicycles, as well as related accessories and spare parts, and fitting and maintenance services as defined in this request for tenders and its appendices.
Children's and young people's walking frames, children's strollersbikes and bicycles require spare parts throughout their life cycle. The general useful life of the aids subject to competition is assumed to be five (5) years on average, and 10 years on average for bicycles. The need for maintenance and repair work and, therefore, spare parts increases during the life cycle of the aidnot towards the end.
This is a joint procurement of several procurement units, which is carried out as a procurement chain. The products requested in this request for tender will be used by: HUS corporation (HUS), South Karelia welfare area, Kymenlaakso welfare area and Paeijaet-Haeme welfare area. The customer reserves the right to procure maintenance, standard modification work, spare parts and accessories also from suppliers other than selected suppliers in the situations specified in the draft contract (appendix 2).
The procurement is divided into three parts:
Part area 1 Walking standt
Section 2 Strollers
Section 3 Bicycles and accessories
Each section is divided into 1-5 products and product-specific partial offers are allowed. From the selected bidders, product-specific framework arrangements are formed, in which two products or product series are selected.
