• PLANNING OBJECT The construction project is a new health center to be built in the center of Kuhmo. The procurement includes the structural planning of the health center. A design task the main drawing sketches and a preliminary structural report are given as starting information. It includes e.g. object scope information and technical goals. The building will be made of wood. As the project gets more detailed, small changes and scope deviations in the rooms and in the state program as a whole are possible and included in the scope of planning tasks. The actual design work is done according to the more detailed design instructions given by the customer. The office selected for the task must present this at the beginning of the planning a quality plan for the project, which shows the organization, inspection and management of the task and the cooperation between the designers. The customer tests the functionality of the quality plan in practice. The designer must approve each design phase with the supervisor of their plans and obtain the authorities' approval for them before the documents are sent to the contract calculation. Making final drawings and handing over archiving sets are part of the task. When investigating system solution options the designer must be able to justify his choice with the life-cycle economics of construction, operation and maintenance costs.
